Casey's Vegetarian Diet

Raw vegetables, fruits, tuna and water diet

I'm a heavy meat-eater, almost every meal I have contains meat or chicken.
Not only that, I work at McDonald's so I have McRoyals every work-day.

Have to point some things out:
I'm skinny -
my wight is ~51kg (112.435754 pounds)
my height is ~170cm (5.57742782 feet)

SO yeah, I'm realy hopin on not losing weight here, so I'll be testing this regimen for 2 weeks for now.

Starting date: March, 8th, 2010

Basically I'm gonna eat only raw Vegetables and fruits, some FULL rice for carbs and tuna for protein.
Why tuna? Because it's fish, it has lots of protein, omega-3 and I can eat it.

What I'm gonna drink is WATER or Water with some lemon juice.

No to Sugar.
No to Milk.
Yes to Vegetables, fruits, rice and tuna.

Oh and yeah, I'm gonna keep taking my antibiotics - Doxylin 100mg
and keep my external regimen which is:
Morning: Wash my face with 'Acnil' cleanser, and using some Cider Vinegar afterwards.
Night: Wash my face with 'Acnil' cleanser, putting Oatmeal on my face, washing it after 20 minutes and again Cider Vinegar.

Oatmeal mask:
I love this thing, it brightens my skin and keeps it moisture, plus it works realy great on keeping out the breakouts!!
That's how I prepare it:
1 Table spoon of quaker oatmeal
4 Table spoons of hot water
I mix it a little and close it with some plate so it will get prepaird, then I put it on my face (it should be sticky) and wait for it to dry - 20 minutes.
Wash it.

Cider Vinegar:
Keeps my face less oily than it usually is.

I'll take some picz tomorrow before starting smile.gif

Good luck to me :S xD

March 21.2010

ok so the final results:

-Acne hasn't improved

-Skin tone improved
-I've felt more energetic after a week since all the toxins in my body were out
-I gained a little weight which is a great thing for me (it is connected)
-My hair looked better

for the summery, I don't think we have to put the meat all away at once, I do believe it's good for us to make a vegetarian week or two every month or so to keep our body clean of toxins.

Youll deffinately feel the results, it's great to feel your body sort of 'light' and it's important to keep your body clean (youll do number 2 more often on vegan diet).

anyways, I'll keep going vegan every month for a week or two.

Good luck with your diet! Be careful with the tuna though- eating too much is not good because it can have mercury in it! Could you alternate the tuna with some lean chicken meat?

3rd and 4th day of my diet

ok so for now the only BIG change I can defiantly tell is that my skin is less oily by 50% than it is normally.

I had a breakout though, like 3 pimples around my mouth.
Oh and yeah, I had lots of tea..with sugar, so that might be the thing that caused the breakout...
i just can't live without sugar sad.gif

Good experiment. I'll predict little improvement and possible worsening of the acne. Since it will be hard to keep your calories up, you have to be careful not to sleep more or more regularly or at different times, otherwise you're testing melatonin effects on top of the (large number of) diet changes you're making.

oh and yeah about the sleeping part - I sleep 5-6 hours a day, which is not good I know i have to sleep a bit more, but it's not possible in my situation.
I'm also getting tired very quickly now.

Today - March / 12/ 2010:

*No breakouts
*What I had yesterday is fading and going away quickly.

Oh and it's realy hot in Israel the past days, and I was on the beach so I'm a little sunburned.

p.s.
I made a 'sin' today, i ate a plate of cereals with milk (gonna hate myself tomorrow) and 2 pieces of chicken x_x.
Keepin on my diet one more week (at least).

One more thing:
