Did anyone else see the Max Clarity Foam commercial on your tv?
It says unlike many other acne treating gels and lotions, the foam penetrates in the skin instead of just sitting on top and irritating your healthy skin.
So this foam is suppose to work better because the skin, I guess soaks the foam up unlike the gels and lotions. I don't know if it's legit, but the treatment consists of two different types of foam.
One bp and the other salicylic acid. Has anyone tried it?

I'm just wondering if it really works, but it's most likely the same way as murad and proactiv. They have ads on tv that look really good, but the product sucks.

I saw the commercial too, and the first thing I did was come to acne.org to see if anyone had tried it yet.
I'd love to know if it works, but sadly if it's on tv it most likely doesn't work.

I hope some brave soul tries it and lets us know if it's worth it.

i'm brave! actually, i saw the tv ad and called them to ask a few questions. it seems legit, but i'll let you know if it works once i actually get it.

fingers-crossed. i've tried everything except for accutane (scared of it) and nothing's really helped.

(btw, i'm over the proactive ads! jessica simpson?!?!)

Do let us know how it goes smile.gif I find these ads for miracle acne products cruel, selling false hope... and I hate proactiv, especially that it's everywhere and it doesn't work. It'd be great if one of these tv acne products worked. I hope it does for you! biggrin.gif

Everybody is always bashing on Proactiv. Proactiv did wonders for me. I have always had acne and I coudn't find anything that worked against it. I lived in another country where they didn't have Proactiv. I started using it here and after a month my acne started to clear up. Besides from the occasional small pimple my acne has completely dissapeared. It really depends on your skin if it works or not. That it doesn't work on your skin, doesn't mean it's not going to work on everybody.
The only problem I have with them is that sometimes their customer service is bad.
They sent me 3 of the same product while I only ordered one and I ended up paying for 2 of them.
I only wanted one, but this is the only thing they would do for me. I personally think I they should have only let me pay for 1 as it was their mistake. They would not take it back either.
Unless I would send it back myself and send them a fax with proof that I sent it.
That just was a little to much trouble for me. All this might not be so bad if they would not have treated me as a child.
Anyway I was trying to figure out if Maxclarity would work just as well, because it seems to be a little cheaper.

Sooooo, after about two weeks using Maxclarity - I have this to report:

1) it does NOT irritate my skin at all. There was a bit of dryness the first day or so, but my skin was fine within about 3 days

2) easy. not 100 gels, face washes, scrubs....and no pills (which I hate) just use the foam, and whatever else you'd normally use. i did get the 'free' face wash, which seems to work fine (although I don't use it every day so I can't really say).

3) It's only been a couple of weeks, but I can say that it seems to be working. My skin is usually very dry (from so many products) or very oily, from not wanting to use those products, and now, it is looking good. Well, better than before at least. 70% improvement - I haven't had any breakouts, and the zits that I do have are starting to fade.

Has anyone tried tanning? I've heard that helps a lot, but tanning beds aren't usually my thing ;-)

I have been on Max Clarity foam system for 1 week and 2 days and have seen DRAMATIC results. I am 29 yrs old with very sensitive skin. *Little history of my skin issues: I burnt my cheek with a hair straightener of all things about 8 yrs ago and developed an infection in the open wound and even staph. My dermatolgist thinks that the infection in that cheek is what triggerred my skin issues on top of the already sensitivity problems i struggled with. My 'breakouts' are normally constistent w/ what i guess is referred to as 'adult acne' around my nose, mouth and chin altho i suffer occassionally from the nodules that pop up out of nowhere that are usually ON my cheeks.. which is the WORST area to get them in my opinion because of how prone that area is to scarring* I have tried ProActive.. not once..but 3 seperate times.. and its WAY to harsh for my skin and never produced results for me. I've tried EVERY over the counter product and i'm not exaggerating and i also tried Murad about a year ago.. WORST mistake ever as i fell victim to the 'purging process' they speak of in their informational guide.. and it did JUST what they said it would.. brought ALL my impurities to the surface ! Only problem being that Murad never delivered the healing part of the process! I gave up on ordering products but figured what the heck.. and thought i would try Max Clarity.. It has done WONDERS for my skin. NO breakouts.. cleared my skin up dramatically in a matter of 3-4 days. NO drying associated w/ the foam product. It comes with 4 easy to use foam dispensers. ONE wash to do morning and night. 1 toner for night use and 1 acne treat/toner for daytime use. Both the acne foam med and the foam toner dry quick and can be worn under makeup. I also received the free 'other face wash' and because it IS a little more 'harsh' i actually found using it like a spot treatment (leaving it on for 15 min or so in evening) works great and then i WASH with it once or twice a week on a night in place of the foam. I have also been using this in my shower on my shoulders and back. I dont struggle w/ body acne but i figured it would be good to clean those areas. I HIGHLY recommend the product. Cost isn't to bad. I think around $40 for what's suppossed to last 2 months? I am still trying to master the right amt of foam to USE but if it works.. i'm willling to pay $40/ month! Best of luck.. hope my testimony helped!

I've also ordered the product. I've suffered from Acne since I was very young, all of my brothers have as well but they luckily cleared up. I've been using Murad for the past 3 1/2 years and have not seen the results that I could hope for. I also used Proactiv prior to that in High School.

I will give results once I have received and started using Max Clarity. biggrin.gif

Just because you see it on TV doesn't mean it doesn't work. I work for the company that makes this and can tell you IT WORKS and they have the clinical data to back up that claim.

I can tell you this DOES work. And Steifel Company makes PRESCRIPTION acne medication (check out their website).

This product uses two products, both benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid which dermatologist recommend USING TOGETHER for the best non-prescription acne control.

Why Dan discontinued salicylic acid and recommends alpha hydroxy acids is beyond me. Alpha hydroxys just don't have the clinical study backing that salicylic acid has for acne.

I used the original formula Max Clarity, which has now been changed to the exceptional foam formulas. Max Clarity now uses micronized benzoyl peroxide crystals for more penetration and less irritation. You'll notice that Proactiv Solution has even improved their formulation; the product now being made with micronized BP.

Max Clarity rocks. You need BP to kill bacteria and salicylic acid to penetrate WITHIN THE PORES through oil, which alpha hydroxys just cannot do.

I love this acne kit. I predict it will be the #1 selling acne kit in the country once more folks catch on. Oh, and I have VERY sensitive skin. This product does not irritate my skin!

Highly, highly recommended.

I also have to attest to Proactive. It does not clear my face 100% but I can tell the difference when I am not using it. Its much worse. The only thing that worked for me is being on a birth control pill, which sucks because its not good to be on it all the time, but if I try to stop for a while I break out like crazy. I am 33! Anyway, right now my regimen is a combination of Neutrogena and Proactive products, green clay masks, birth control pill and at night I use this LED red/blue light on my ace for about 10 mins and my face is much better. I still have a lot of scars and a few bumps that aren't visible but I can feel them if I touch my face, they won't go away. At least nothing that's been keeping me from leaving my house. I think I am gonna try this max clarity product. I've been using Neutrogena Salicylic Acid products combinnig with Proactive's Benzoyl ones, and I did notice how that helps.

I just ordered this product today so I will definitly come back with my feedback once I use it. But for those of you who have been using it. Have you had to use a moisturizer afterwards? And if so what kind have you been using?

I saw it, I bought it. I was excited to try it, and the moment I used the toner my face felt like it was on fire. I tend to have sensitive skin, but not that sensitive. I am going to return it.

My Mom took me to dermatologist who took a needle to them, put googles on me and burnt me so bad I had to go to school with white rings around my eyes and peeling skin. They didn't even know that antibiotics helped at that time. Then after my teens I had a period of calm for years. But about 15years ago it started again. They call it rosacea but I think it's similar.I've a hard time accepting the fact that I can't use all the latest products, for aging skin.Such as hyaluronic, glycolic, retinol, salicilic, aha, amino peptides, and retin A.If there is a bright side to blemishes,I believe that having to tend to my skin so vigorously through the years has kept it virtuously wrinkle free.Hang in there.Today there is real help like this website, lazers&meds that work.

I saw the commercial and was wondering if it worked. I do use the PanOxyl face wash and I do know that if you use just a tiny bit of water and keep rubbing gently that it will actually disappear into the skin. So I just assummed that it went into the pores. I often thought of making a video of this happening because even the PanOxyl people don't know what I'm talking about. It goes into the pores so well you could really leave it on. But I rinse it off but not much comes back off (you can feel it), so I think a lot of it goes into the pores.

Just got this in the mail today. To give you an idea of what my skin looked like before; I have no pimples on my left cheek just scars, right I have a few tiny ones and a big one that will not get off my fricken face, and a cyst on my chin. So, today was my first day of using the kit and I can say it definitely helped my face. the few pimples I had on my right cheek are gone and the big one is about 75% smaller. The cyst on my chin rose up and turned into a whitehead (thank god, I was not looking forward to a painful lump on my chin for the next month or so.) I'll give you an update on how my skin is doing in a couple of days, but so far I give it two thumbs up. hifive.gif

That's pretty good to hear. I'm kind of tempted to ordering it now. How much did you pay for the kit?
Please keep us updated! Seems like a lot of people are interested in Max Clarity.

hmm well supposedly you get a two month supply for $20 so I guess they auto ship the next kit once its time. Like I said its $20 and it said free shipping but they stuck me with a $6 shipping charge? Oh I want everyone to know that I'm only 14 so my acne is most likely hormonal, also this kit is good if your younger like me because I'm pretty sure you can use it for 60 days but if you don't like it you can return the empty bottles for a refund, so parents will probably be more willing to buy it. (I know it changed my moms thoughts on it.)
