Ive been taking this stuff since December 29th. So far it hasn't helped. I think i became resistant to anti biotic when i took minocycline for months. That helped, but I had never been on anything. Then it stopped working. Has anyone had any luck on keflex? 500mg twice a day.

I just started taking Cephalexin, which is a generic of Keflex, today. 250mg 4x/day I am also worried that it may not work due to my many courses on tetracycline in the past 2 years. I think my body is "immune" to antibiotics.

or....

Maybe Keflex is a different type of antibiotic that works differently than tetracycline. The reason for this speculation is because my dermatologist said that tetracycline MAY NOT be taken with accutane (I am in the stages of trying to regulate my liver enzyme level in order to start my course) but it is OK for Keflex to be taken with accutane.

btw- I was prescribed Keflex for a skin condition non related to my acne.
