Hi all,

I'm taking Sulfamethoxazole, also known as Septra or Bactrim, orally for my cystic acne. I'm interested in trying out Adult Acnomel topical cream containing sulfur as well. Would this be too much sulfur in my system? I know sulfur in certain forms and at certain concentrations can be toxic so I'm a little nervous.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Nah, you're fine im pretty sure. As far as i know the sulfur in bactrim and the sulfur in topicals are different. I myself am allergic to Bactrim, But not topical sulfur, or the kind of sulfur in food and food preservatives.

So yeah, i think it should be fine.
