I have pretty shallow scars, I think. Any suggestions on what treatment I should pursue? Is dermabrasion even worth trying with shallow pits? Shallow pits, I guess is what you would call them. I don't want anything thats gonna make me look like a freak for a week or more. I have to go to work and face people everyday. Which is hard enough already. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do NOT do dermabrasion or anything invasive for shallow scars!
Things to try:
Microdermabrasion. You have to do a series of like, 12, and won't see results until 8-10. Not MAJOR results, but for shallow scarring it is good.
Light chemical peels.
Try retin a, but like microderm, this will take time.

Thanks, I set up an appointment with a dermatologist. Hard to get advice sometimes on this site, what gives?
