I've been doing some research in an attempt to find a sponge or cloth for exfoliation and stumbled across this little gem. It's called the konjac sponge. It's a completely natural antibacterial vegetable fiber sponge used to exfoliate, cleanse, moisturize, and balance the skin's ph all without the addition of soap or moisturizer. Just add water. Of course, a cleanser or soap can be used in conjunction, but the claim is that it does all of this without the use of a cleanser or soap. It's been used in Japan for centuries, but it seems as though it has yet to catch a wide consumer base because I've only been able to find a couple retailers over the internet. Has anyone had any experience with this product? Or, maybe you have another exfoliating sponge or cloth story to share.

So, I've been using this Claroderm micropeeling cloth for two days now and it's great. Before, I was cleansinng my face once in the morning and once in the evening with your typical facial cleanser. Now, I cleanse my face as I normally would in the morning, and cleanse with the Claroderm cloth in the evening. This thing is awesome. It's the most gentle cleansing method that I've come across so far. It exfoliates very well without irritation, and it doesn't leave my face dry and flaky. I'm not too sure about how well it fights against bacteria, but I can say that I haven't had any new blemishes rise for the past couple of days which to me is fantastic.
