Hey everyone,

I have been suffering from acne for around 3-4 years now. I was prescribed various medication, however after visiting a dermatologist today, at 16 years old and now with severe scarring, I have finally been prescribed with accutane. I'm on 40mg a day and I'm just interested in reading about other people's experiences. I'm aware of the side effects and slightly concerned that they are going to cause a problem. I'm also wondering roughly how long it's taken for people's acne to improve? Would really like to read about others who are/have been on the drug.

I am trying to get a little MSN accutane group started up for people on tane 2 chat about things going on with the tane etc.

I started accutane yesterday, Nov 1st! So I'm on day two, it's so exciting, I just can't wait until morning to take my next pill, I'm on 40 mg of Claravis / per day. I will be attempting to write on my blog regularily so feel free to check it out, I really find it helpful being able to talk to people going through the same thing as me.
