I finally got all the ingredients, and made a ~4% niacinamide gel with an aloe vera base (used lily of the desert's 99% aloe). It has a really goopy, thick consistency but my skin absorbed it in a couple minutes. I'll keep you posted about how it works for me!

Great! Keep us updated on how it works for you.

Well... I know it's too early to make conclusions, but so far it's amazing. My skin feels really soft, calm, and not oily, and I don't think I've gotten any acne since I started using it.

That's been my skin's response to niacinamide too. I don't have to use any thicker moisturizers anymore, which my clog-prone skin is very happy about! The niacinamide + the MD formulations AOX hydrating gel (and my sunscreen) keeps my skin well hydrated and not too oily. I get fewer clogged pores too.

I still say try and call them, even if its an international call. Sometimes email addresses don't work or don't get to who they are supposed to go to. Its possible they shipped it and it got held up in customs, since its an international package. The box they ship in also looks like its coming from a medical facility, so that might have caused it to get held up on your end.

Can metazine make your skin peel a tad when you first use it? My skin has reacted pretty well to it so far, but I noticed when I put on my makeup that my skin looked dryish and is peeling in a few spots. It's actually really soft though. I didn't use the makeup over the meta, I only use the meta at night. I thought the meta makes skin more hydrated. confused.gif

I also haven't gotten any new ones while using it.

i thought it was a bit drying too. Did you find it helped with stopping your pores from building up and getting clogged?

I'm using this now. Have been for about a week. At first I think it made me peel and dry, but now I seem to be getting the moisture benefits. I like it so far. Hasn't broken me out.

Hi,
I'm looking for an acne product and after reading this form it sounds like metazine gel is worth a shot. Do any of you have scars and colour spots left by acne? Especially after squeezing them? Since i'm practically addicted to squeezing zits, my face has become some what of a constellation. I'm worried these blemishes are only going to look worse as I age. Does anyone have any experience with skin bleaching or any other methods to reverse these effects? Does metazine gel help with that, I read in one of the posts that it makes the skin lighter?
Thanks

I've read it lightens skin but I've only been using it a week, so I have no idea personally.

So far I haven't broken out. *crossed fingers*

It's worth a try. It's not expensive really. I got mine where Willow posted she got hers. Lifelink or something like that.

Probably from the link that willow posted. It's not sold in stores you have to have it shipped.
