Just wondering if anyone out there has been sucessfully treated for PF? And, is your PF chronic or did it get "cured?"

I think I've got mine cured using Target "Origin" brand tea tree oil. Using it "neat" and applying with palm of hand. Occassionally exfoliate with baking soda also, but otherwise that is the extent of what I'm doing. Have been using H&S forever as shampoo. Started on my belly area a couple of years ago. Tried everything before the TTO and this is the only thing that's curtailed the itching and all red spots have disappeared. I occassionally still have a single red spot show up, so I'm not completely cured.
What I should do is start shampooing with a Tea Tree Oil Shampoo, cut out as much sugars as possible and continue applying the Tea Tree Oil.
Good luck,
Chuck

ChuckH,
I'm new to this forum and I see this post is from some time ago. I was wondering what your status is now with the pityrosporum? Thanks
