I have now had 2 fraxel and 1 affirm laser procedures. I wasn't really all that happy with either one of them. I now have a profractional resurfacing procedure November.19th at 9:00 am...I have heard they this procedure if 3 times better then either one of them... I will let you all know how it goes! I am only getting my partial face done (cheeks, nose and chin are)... They are charging me only 400$... I have take off Thursday, Friday and the following Monday just in case... they say by the 3rd day I can go out without makeup... lets hope and pray that I don't have to wear as much makeup/concealer anymore after this!!

Well it has been 2 weeks since my Profractional Laser resurfacing and I am quite impressed. I got the procedure done Thursday morning and it was quick... Maybe half an hour?? I was pretty nervous before end because having fraxel and affirm laser before this treatment and the pain was out of this world! Even with numbing cream and the pain killers I took... BUT the profractional procedure was a BREEZE.. I hardly felt anything!! A few irritating pricks around the lip area but thats it.. there were some spots around my jaw line that I felt not a thing... so what a relief!!! I could relax through the whole thing... So after it was over with my face felt very hot.. I mean hot hot... the lady put some cool cloths on my face and dabbed my bloody face.. Wow that freaked me out when she showed me the cloth full of blood... eeek! Please had me the mirror I asked... and yes blood everywhere.. I am not too sure how to upload pictures quite yet but I took a bunch.. By the end of the day Thursday most of the blood was gone.. I kept on the vaseline goop that they give you and I still apply it till this day! I actually don't mind it to sleep with on.. I wake up to a smooth moisturized face.. So from what I can tell my face looks a lot better.. I really didn't have many scars to begin with but I can for sure see a difference in the whole apperance of my face.. I look much younger and my skin is sooo smooth looking... I am very happy with the overall procedure!! The 400$ was worth it!!

what was the name of the Profractional Laser resurfacing that you got? were your scars improved? were they small or big before?

did you get numbing cream for the Profractional Laser resurfacing?

I had 3 profractional treatments that were full face. It has almost been a year since the last procedure. I would say, in my opinion, there is a very mild improvement, but it isn't worth the $2700.00 that I paid. I have spent probably $5000.00 on different procedures, and nothing has really worked all that well. I think it's time for acceptance. It has definitely never stopped me from having boyfriends. We are our own worst enemies sometimes.
