i have cut sugar intake today for about about 3 weeks and see if it clears acne.
because i think in my case it does

Well I will admit I have always wondered if Masturbation has anything to do with acne. Honestly besides say touching your face during or after without washing your hands I don't see how it has anything to do with it. Either way as you can easily find on here touching your face is a serious cause of getting and maintaining acne. Especially picking and or squeezing pimples. But if you never touch your face with your dirty hands other than maybe a sweat you might work up (HAHA )
while masturbating and the possible break out from that I still cannot see any cause for why masturbation would give you acne!

All I know is I masturbate a good amount, at least once per day. I would really like to know if this has anything to do with acne or can lead to it just from the act of doing it.

For sure this is a topic we ALL need to address in my opinion!

i will tell you why sex / masturbation causes acne, especially in females. when a female reaches orgasm, there are things called androgens that your body releases...androgens cause pimples, and also your hormones are going crazy when you partake in sexual activity, and when hormones go crazy, pimples do too. and also, females testosterone level sky rockets when reaching orgasm (yes we have testosterone too )

i use to have terrible acne from a 3 month long initial breakout from birth control pills, which made the acne hormonal...everytime me and my boyfriend had sex, i got a new pimple. my hormonal acne seems to have vanished now that i am almost done with month 4 on the pill, but i still get "normal people pimples" and now when we have sex, i dont get a new pimple.
