Ok so There are quite a few niacin topics, and so I wanted to start my own.

we in the UK have a shop called holland and barrett.

I have looked into non flush niacin online through other stores and it looks like it will cost £20 for 100 tablets at 500mg

in holland and barret i picked up the 100mg FLUSH niacin tablets and I plan on taking one tonight.

Has anyone else taken this specific one and found good results?

it states on the bottle that you should consult your doctor before taking it and in sensitive people anything over 20mg may give you a flush/rash etc.

my plan is to try this for a few days and hope it clears me up a little before my holiday, which will involve drinking alcohol.

thanks again

no one?

well i took a 100mg flush niacin after dinner and experienced a slight hot sensation and my neck feels a bit odd. but i like it.

I just want to cure this once and for all sad.gif

I have also ordered a bottle of 500mg no flush niacin so will start taking those when i get back from holiday. i would take them with me, but if i am drinking alcohol that wouldnt be wise would it. liver would probably die

also with the whole flushing thing, if you dont really experience one like full on does this mean it isnt working? or you need to up the dosage? i plan on taking another 100mg tomoz

can i take zinc while taking niacin>?

i take 2x 22mg zinc picolinate

Hiya,

So how much was the one from H&B? Christ, £20 sounds a lot! But I guess when you think of the prescription charges for what you'd get off the doc and balance that out, it's prob gonna be £20 at least.

I also wanna start taking that particular zinc. Did you also get from H&B? It's something that'll come in handy this time of yr anyway. Might keep swine flu at bay! LOL

Look forward to hearing your progress................ cool.gif
