I use the 1.5 mm every 6-8 months for collagen remodeling, the .75 is good for topicals and slight pigmentation problems. The .75 is good twice a week for me.If you do the 1.5 you have to invest in a numbing cream.Re-read the threads here, there is a wealth of information.

Just out of interest, have you noticed the roller improve wrinkles? I am just curious about this, luckily I don't have wrinkles (probably thanks to my large pores ironically) but I never really bought into the roller sorting out wrinkles as in my view what it succeeds at is tearing up the scar tissue and I can't really see it doing too much to wrinkles.
As for the Bio Oil wingrie, yeah that's exactly what it does - read up on it and see what you think, not too expensive and you need very little to cover your entire face so it lasts for ages. Very pleased with mine as it keeps my skin really soft and prevents dryness as well - and no I don't work for Bio Oi, I just like it

Hey Greg,i really don't have wrinkles, but i think with continued use of the dermaroller your pores will shrink.I made a mistake about the .75 being used twice a week,it should be once.I have like 3 rollers and i get confused, the .25mm is twice a week. Its been 5 weeks today since i rolled and now i'm starting to feel tightening and some of the scars are really reforming themselves and i'am getting pretty impressed with the results. The key is just time and being consistent.

One final question is why have you chosen to just use the 1.5 every 6-8 months? At the moment I am rolling with the 1.5 every 6-7 weeks and am not using any sort of roller in between. I feel that so far this is going well for me. have you reached a point where you don't need to use the 1.5 quite as much?
Thanks

Whoops i meant every 6-8 weeks sorry. My next is coming up next Saturday, which would be 6 weeks, but i think i'm gonna wait 2 more weeks because i've been feeling skin tightening this past week...so i think its starting to change a little more.As far as using the 1.5 i will keep using it,but maybe at one point every 3 months or more as things look better.

No HG, the rolling hasn't been the cause of my large pores, wouldn't recommened it if I thought it was. The pore issue is in my genes and now that i have accepted that and am still seeing scars improvements I am feeling better again.

Hey Greg,i really don't roll in between anymore...i did at first.Even tho its shallow with a .25mm i think that the skin is in trauma after a 1.5mm roll for some weeks after. This last roll,my skin did not start to look good till the 4 week mark...it usually took 2-3 weeks. This week will mark 6 weeks since my last roll (4th) and i think i will wait another 2 because of continued tightening.Rolling has been amazing along with the bio-oil.

I'm sorry to ask this, i'm sure everyone keeps asking. However, I've read the posts and can't seem to find the roller on ebay.
Where are you guys buying the 1.5mm roller? What brand, and is it the medical physician grade?
Thank You.

I'm 26 years old and my face has some severe scars. I've not count them but I have approximately 40-50 ice picks and 10 rolling scars. One year I had a session of Pearl Cutera. In France it costs me 400$. After 6 months, I thought the results were great (10% on ice picks and 50% on rolling scars, I'm not joking!) but my dermatologist didn't want to hear about other techniques such as dermaroller or TCA cross. So I decided to give them a try in order to see if I can have some significant results .
I would like to know something. How long does it take for a good 1.5 mm rolling session?
I used my 0.5 mm Dr. Roller once a week for about 10 minutes and was quite red for about 2 or 3 days.
2 weeks ago i decided to use my 1.5 mm roller. I didn't use any numbing cream but I think I rolled pretty hard (maybe not enough because I felt some pain), until my cheeks were covered with blood. The session lasts 10 minutes. First I was almost violet but after a day or two, the redness completely dissapeared!!! I don't understand why. Maybe my skin is accustomed to such kind of procedures.
So far, after 5-6 sessions with a 0.5 mm dermaroller and one with a 1.5 mm model (remember this one is only two weeks old), I think I have a slight but definitive improvement; maybe 15%. The 1.5 mm seems to work well

By day 3 I am moderately red, you shouldn't be REALLY red days after, it dies down well by day 3 though with red still showing up until day 5.
Good luck!

I buy mine from drroller.eu site. I t has free shipping and you get a discount when you buy a few.
Quick update - 4th roll last week. Went well, am much quicker now and doing it in sections really helps this as the numbing cream doesn't wear off by the time you have moved to another part of your face.
Really pleased with the results and kept a close eye on whether or not roller was causing pores to enlarge or scar, didn't do either.
Still need another number of rolls but so far so good and I am already looking forward to my next roll in January. Left 8 weeks between the rolls this time because I couldn't get time off work, 6-8 weeks is what I will aim for from now on.
Oh and I don't use ice packs at all any more, no need with the sections rolling.

overcome, hearing feedback from you and others here really keeps me positive about
rolling. thanks for sharing and everyone's happy about your positive results.
I know the feeling about the dreaded window reflection, honestly, right now I
won't even look at the reflection outside in a car window. I'm also seeing steady results
which is great. My feeling is in the next four months or so I'm gonna get nice results
ifI keep progressing at the same rate. THUMBS UP.

The positive thing that I take from my scars is that I am not a superficial person, I have learnt to seek true happiness in life as it kept me up when feeling down and I learnt to paint on my down days and now that I am mostly up I love painting and it is something that will stay with me for life!
Thanks guys for checking in, hopefully others will get a little hope from hearing that we are pleased with how things are going.
