Hi, I'm 17 years old girl.
I have combination skin which consists of parrtially dry cheeks and oily T-zone.
I have somewhat sensitive skin.
After using Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser, my face felt more oily than it used to be.
It even made my cheeks pretty oily as well.
I don't really have acne; I just get few pimple once in a while or so.
Recently I found out that there's a product called Spectro Jel and that it works really well.
It interested me even more because there are variety of Spectro Jels according to the skin.

What kind of Spectro Jel should I buy and is it effective ?
I think there's a combination skin type one and a sensitive blemish-prone one.

I've used the one for Blemish-Prone (unscented version) and I've really liked it. It's a pretty gentle cleanser and I can't imagine that version drying you out. I originally had my doctor recommend it for me when I was a little younger than you (now I am 22), and that's how I found out about it.

But I'd say you be best off to buy one of the small bottles to start--because they also have a version for Combo Skin.
Although I have kinda combo skin I use the blemish-prone version because it's always worked for me, and I used to have oilier skin, but now it has changed, but I still like the version I am using.

Spectrojel is great, but if you wear makeup, you'll need something else to use in conjunction with it. I use a heavier cleanser at night (like Dove, Olay, etc. pretty much anything foaming that can remove makeup. It still has to be gentle.) and then I use Spectrojel in the morning. Spectrogel and Cetaphil are great at not messing with the pH of your skin, but are almost too gentle to remove makeup, so I find alternating them with another gentle cleanser works best for me.
