I have only been getting cysts on my neck over the past few months. What's weird is that 2 years ago, when the acne on my face was at it's worst (it was vile) I didn't have a single spot on my neck. Now I have them across my jawline and coming past my ear.
I think stress from exams may have caused them except they're still here 2 months after finishing...so when did everyone else develop neck acne and what do you think was the cause?

I have no clue but that has been happening to me too. Used to never get a single mark on my neck but now they are all over my jawline and crawling towards my chin. Now I have an acne beard. Which is worse because I'm a girl
This only started about a month ago. In fact now that I think about it, it was during a summer class that I took. Maybe stress really is the cause of it.

It started developing about a year ago after I turned 17. It slowly got to the point where the right side of my neck was full of cysts and the skin had so many large dark areas of blood pooled under the surface. Since I started this new regimen, my neck has started healing. I still get some pimples, but the big ones have gone away. The skin is still discolored, but it's slowly getting better everyday.
Edit: It was worst at the midsection lateral sides of my neck. Jawline was pretty bad, but it was worse right below that.

After my face acne starts to get better...
I have noticed this too actually haha. Right now the acne on my face is actually getting better somehow. I have no idea what I've done differently than in the past several months besides drinking more water, cleansing/washing my face twice a day, and cutting back on my alcohol intake because my regimen is still the same (proactive). But unfortunately my neck acne has actually gotten worse. I'm currently 22 and I've had this neck acne problem since I was probably 18 and it's very frustrating. I've begun to try and conceal the pimples with a concealer from Clinique that is supposed to target pimples while also hiding them by using salicylic acid. It's pretty handy to have but I know the acne doesn't seem to subside until I break out on my face again. It's almost like some sort of weird balance between the two.

I think I started getting acne on my neck when I was 16 or 17. I get the really large cysts and pustules. I was on accutane once and that didn't go to well. Ever since I've been trying to find some way to stop the breakouts and maintain healthy, good looking skin.
Right now I'm trying neutrogena body wash with salicylic acid, followed up by aveeno daily moisturizing body wash. Then after I'm done showering I put on Dan's AHA.
I've seen little to no benefit applying BP to my neck, so I stopped using it and came up with a different plan that still incorporated AHA because I feel that stuff does wonders for my skin, it just needs a supplemental cleanser before I put it on. Thus why I use neutrogena.

I just started getting mine in late July. I had 2 spots at the most before, mostly related to my cycle, but this sudden breakout (i had up to 20 cysts/pustules at a time, from my mid neck to my jawline/chin. I had to wear some summer scarves to deal with my embarrassment eek!) was really unprecedented. I recently turned 30 years old. I went to a dermo about two weeks ago, and she told me to get checked out for PCOS, even though I thin, have regular cycles, and don't have body hair. I got my blood checked and I'm getting an ovarian ultrasound tomorrow. My neck is healing and I only have 2-3 healing spots left (and loads of PIH.) I'm hoping for the best.

This!
My neck acne is around my jaw line and the side of my neck. I don't get any at the back of my neck. I have no idea on how to treat it because it's near my glands
