Hi There.....I am 33 years old, and have suffered with Nodular/ Cystic acne for quiet some time now...I have tried everything under the sun...Proactiv, The regimen, Clean & Clear, Clinique...just to name a few........Well, now I started something new...and my skin looks AWESOME....about amonth ago...I started taking 3 Omega Fish Oil pills, 2 Vitamin E pills, and 2 Biotin Pills EVERY night right at bedtime.....I AM SO PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS.....my skin has never looked so good...the only problem I have now is the scars from previous bumps !!!!! I now have 3 of my girlfriends on this regimen, and it is working for them too !!! I even talked to a friend that is a Nurse in a Derms. office, and she says her Patients SWEAR by Fish Oils !! ....just wanted to share...hope it helps someone like it's helped me...I just happened on this cure by accident...I was desperate to find something to help me !!!

hmmmmmm I've been taking fish oils as well.
however, i don't see the same results...
maybe that because I'm on accutane so everything is still being pushed out...

I havent heard of biotin, maybe i should add that to my list

I've heard great things about Fish Oil and just ordered some in the mail yesterday. I can't wait to try them =)

I take 1200 mg of fish oil daily for cardiovascular health, it's great stuff, but it has done absolutely nothing for me with regard to dermatology issues. I'm glad that it works for you and others, but like most everything else cannot be regarded as a universal cure, sadly.

Bamacik, can you, pls, tell me what is the concentration of the pills you take?I also take omega 3 fish oil 1000 mg, just one pill a day. Thank you

fish oil cured my cystic acne. within a couple of days new ones stop popping up and if i stop taking the fish oil they return within a couple of weeks.

the brand i use is carlson super omega 3 fish oil it's available online. i don't know why it works but it's the only thing that ever has.

i take 2 capsules a day and after a month i reduce it to 1 a day... occasionally a cyst will pop up while i'm taking 1 capsule a day and if so i immediately start taking 2 again.

I discovered fish oil works for cystic acne by accident. I began taking it just for general health reasons and over time noticed that while taking it I never got the cysts and when I stopped taking the capsules the cysts would come back. I also take a little more right before my period when my cysts get worse if I'm not taking fish oil.

I told my sister who also suffers from acne about it and she won't take them because she thinks because it's an oil it will make her skin worse, she's really missing out.
