Try www.makeupalley.com

They probably have some reviews there, but I can't look it up because I'm not sure who makes it?

You can read the makeup alley reviews HERE. I know there are some people on this board who have used their products and are very satisfied.

I did try samples of the extra coverage stuff. It's really, really thick (thicker than most concealers you buy in tubes). The color of the closest stuff (porcelain) is WAY too yellow for me though. I didn't order alabaster though because I thought it'd be too light for me.

I take back what I said above. After being reminded about my illuminaire samples, I decided to try mixing with a bit of my sunblock and then applying..it produced a nice moisture rich (kind of dewy) high coverage foundation, and the yellow color was toned down. I'm now debating which I like better: Coverblend concealer or the illuminaire extra coverage (the illuminaire is a lot thicker btw; both come in approx 0.5 oz tubes). It'll take a few days to really tell if it lasts better throughout the day and if I like it better.

thanks smile.gif I already got my samples today. and Im trying out the makeup myself. Im basically just hoping not to break out. I got the ultimate all day foundation thats for oily skin. I think that its not supposed to break you out, but you know how it is, some things still will. smile.gif

Hi Ritzvin, any updates on which one you prefer better? Which is longer lasting? Does it accetuate flaky skin?

In the end, I didn't really like either too much. Th eilluminaire/sunblock mix really didn't have much lasting power. I finally went with a medium coverage foundation instead (Revlon Colorstay). It stayed much better throughout the day and looked much more natural (ie not cakey). I would dab a bit more on spots if I felt I needed it.

Will the revlon colorstay 'grab' onto flaky dry skin and look unnatural?

probably, but not as much as the full coverage stuff would. Like most foundation, you'll have to exfoliate off the flakes and moisturize befor eputting the makeup on.

I use the Revlon Colorstay natural makeup and it covers very well and stays on all day! I have to use an oil based cleanser to remove it , it stays on so well. This is the newer makeup, not the original colorstay (if they even still make that and it isn't the colorstay lite). I use this with Clinique concealor and Clinique stay matte powder. To remove all this I use those Oil of Olay Daily Facials Express Wet Cloths and put on Avon Perfect Wear Makeup Remover and remove most of the foundation and eyemakup with that then I use a liquid cleanser and a wash cloth to get off the rest and to wash off the oily makeup remover.
So far this foundation is the best for my acne scared face with minimal breakouts. My skin isn't extremely oily anymore due to the Aldactone I am taking and the foundation isn't to drying for me either.
I also use Cover Girl Fresh look when I don't need something to last all day long.
