But I think that's due to the new moisturizer and lotion I got. I'll never ever use CeraVe ever again.
Complex 15/Dove Hydrating cream is a crap load better.
So I stopped using Hibiclen and that crappy toner I got and the lotion and cream.
I cant post anything about this though. It seems worse than before, that's all I know.
Like I haven't had a bad breakout for awhile, but today, after woke up, I had it kinda bad. It might be due to the toner I tried.
Anyways, I'll come back later, maybe a week, say results. But I doubt I'll get any better with or without this. But time will tell.
I just take the B-Vitamins and Niacin.

Are you using a no flush formula? Usually niacin should be taking 3 times a day 200mg because it leaves the body pretty quickly.

They used the non-flushing kind and apparently, the flush kind works too.
They said that they take it once with/after a meal and it worked for them.
The OP said it worked instantly(pretty much). At least the 2 that started Niacin thread.
I take exactly what the one person said they took. She also stated that she takes Vita B complex with it(actually earlier in the day but still takes it)
I'll take mine, till it's gone. I noticed a changed moisturizer and my face gets clogged from that so that messed up my results. I might have gained a lot of stress because I spent $30 for the things. Also along with the toner, spent another $3. So yeah, I don't like that. The toner makes me itch and impossible to sleep with it on. Then I have a lot of exams to get stress over.
Exams are over and I'll see how it goes. I might have a decrease in crystic acne though. Even though I got one that popped up on the opposite side of the other one(on temple) while taking this. I usually would get one around jawline or around ear by now. (usually I get one on the right side of face, I get another on the left side a week later in the same spot)
I would, if I were you, take approximately 500mg of that stuff from the start. Your body doesn't need to get use to it like some BP thing.
If taking flush, I would eat that pill after finishing dinner or whatever food you eat.

I'm 26, male, have had mild acne since a teenager, a few pimples here and there, but sometimes a little worse and sometimes they take awhile to go away. I don't know what happened, but the past month it has gotten pretty bad. My forehead broke out pretty bad and I have been using rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, anything I could think of to get the swelling down. Bad stuff to use probably, I know, but I was desperate. Then I got 2 giant deep pimples on my forehead that were just absolutely horrible looking. I searched and searched online for things I could do to help. I started looking up dermatologist's and wanted to make an appointment ASAP. I also ordered Proactive and had it overnighted... (I've never tried it before).
I then came across this site and almost bought the products but decided to wait and give proactive a try. I found these forums and this thread is the first one I looked at. It sounded like several people had results with the Niacin so I decided to give it a shot. I went to walmart immediately, at 1am, and bought a bottle. I also bought the Neutrogena spot treatment to try that (but I already had Clearasil that is 10% benzoyl peroxide and it didn't do a thing. I had also been using a new face wash that I bought which uses 2.5% benzoyl peroxide and was really drying my face out, but seemed to help the existing pimples go away quicker, except for these deep giant ones I now had...
So, I began using the Neutrogena On-the-spot cream as shown on this website and started taking the Niacin (non flush type, 500 mg). After the first day, I didn't notice any difference. Actually, I started using the Neutrogena the second day). During the middle of the second day, I could tell the pimples were looking better, I had 2 new pimples that were very tiny. I think today is the 4th day and the existing pimples are still there but almost gone and not very noticeable. I haven't seen any new pimples in the last 2 days. I'm using the Neutrogena on the existing pimples but not all over my face to try to prevent new pimples. **Starting the second day, I take 500mg in the morning after breakfast and then 1/2 a pill (250mg) after dinner. Probably doesn't make a difference but I figured I'd up it a bit..
So, it is still very early, I don't know if it is just the cream that helped my pimples go away quicker or not, but I feel like the Niacin might be helping keep me from breaking out more. I'm also eating more healthy, but I have never noticed my diet effect my breakouts... There are many things I changed in the last week so there is no way I could attribute my current success with any one thing. I will keep this going and if my face clears up more and stays that way, I will stop using the benzoyl peroxide facewash and Neutrogena cream and see if I continue to have success without those products. I will try to update in a week or two. I wish I could show you pictures but I guess I didn't save the before picture... Sorry! Hope this info helps somebody.
