Hey so earlier today I noticed this wierd blue-grey liquid on the cap inside rim so I threw it out, I JUST remade it about an hour ago in a different jar (which I boiled to be sure) and again when I went to use it there was some dark grey-blue liquid coming from the cap groves...

Has anyone else had this happen?? What is it?

on the cap to your jojoba oil or vinegar?

i haven't experienced anything like that. doh. wish i could help.

Update*

The texture and tone of my skin continues to improve. I recently switched my soap to one that is less drying. I got it from someone who makes natural soaps. It's called Ylang Yland Oatmeal soap. I love it! I have been using a washrag to gently wash my face with the soap to help very gently "exfoliate" the dead skin off. My skin feels very soft.

The ingredients in the soap if you are interested: Ingrediants: Organic Ylang Ylang, Sweet Orange & Rosewood Pure Essential Oils, Organic Oats, Organic Orange Zest, Vitamin E,
Natural Base Ingredients: Saponified Vegetable oils mainly Coconut Oil, Glycerin (kosher, of vegetable origin), Purified Water, Sorbitol (from berries, moisturizer) , Sorbitan oleate (emulsifier), Soybean protein (conditioner), Titanium Dioxide (mineral whitener used in opaque soaps).

However... (And this is why I haven't taken another picture) I have been breaking out more than usual lately and of course I am very frustrated about it. I stopped using the vinegar but only because I want to use as few things as possible until I figure this out. I don't think that the vinegar is causing breakouts and I will continue using it after I get cleared up again.

I have been thinking about this for awhile and finally realized last night that it could be iodine. I kept asking myself what was different when my skin was the clearest it's ever been and I remembered that I used to take women's vitamins without iodine in them for about a year. But then I stopped buying vitamins due to lack of money and my skin was still doing pretty good. Just recently, I bought vitamins again but these ones have 150 mg of iodine in them, 100% rda value. It sure seems like it could be the cause of my recent breakouts so I am going to stop using them and switch to my old vitamins. I have read that dairy also contains high amounts of iodine and also egg yolk. I will research that further since I don't consume much dairy anyway, but I do eat cheese and yogurt. It may be worth looking into. It sure seems like a direct connection to me.

Wish me luck.
