Usually my entire face and some scalp gets oily in under an hour then it gets worser as time passes. But the milk of magnesia makes my oil non existant, my skin stays normal for 6-7 hours then gets only a little oily after. Tried it twice so far, both great, if theres white streaks I just use some jojoba oil. This also makes a good skin whitener as my skin looks lighter.

i have an very oily scalp (face rather little)... can u / anyone else truly recommend the use of this stuff on the scalp?

I'm not sure if the texture would work well on hair.

I have lived with oily skin on my face for years. Pretty much the result of using just about every acne medication know to man since I was 15. I'm now 37.

I read this thread and decided to give MoM a shot since nothing else seems to be working. Today was my first application. I decided not to wash my face and put it on my already oily skin. The outcome was pretty good and it seem to absorb the oil I had. I will continue to try it and report back on the outcome.

the measurement of "extreme oily" hasn't entirely been clarified. so in hopes of getting clarification, would MoM be beneficial to someone who's skin gets oily again after 1-2 hours after washing/etc?

i'm not sure what extremely oily skin amounts to in the norm, but for me, i think i have it. i can remove access oil with witch hazel and still have oily, oozing skin in an hour. :{

hey!

I was wondering since it is a pill, could I grind it up and mix with jojoba oil and use this as a moisturizer since jojoba moisturizes my face?

Thanks

Okay so I tried it. The first time it soaked up the oily like no other. I mean my skin was matte. No signs of oil at all and it lasted quite a while.

Then i used it again and it soaked up the oily but then later i notice my nose had little beads of oily coming to the surface. So I guess it didn't work for me.

As with every freaking product out there you gotta find what works with you. So for some it may work you just gotta be consistant with it. This was just not for me.

Hey everyone. I need some feedback. I'm really confused right now if I should continue with this product or not. I don't know if i should give it more time, but i'm not seeing results like the other reviews i'm reading and i feel so hopeless and devistated! I have extremely oily skin. Every hour i have to blott my face with these oil pads and it comes up clear everytime! Thats how serious it is. I use MoM as a primer under my foundation and i'm not getting the results of less oil. Infact i feel like my skin is getting more oily...is that suppose to be happening and is that possible that MoM is doing this to my skin or a coincidence? My skin is still oily with MoM. Only thing i feel it does is maybe dry up the acne a little. I don't know what to do..any suggestions?

I don't wear make-up (I'm not saying a guy shouldn't, it's just a personal preference) but every time I go out I use Milk of Magnesia in VERY small quantities all over my face so it won't leave those white lines after it dries, and I have felt an enormous difference in the output of sebum, I would honestly recommend it to everyone.. it's as dumb proof as they come and stupidly cheap (lol), I've tried lots of expensive products for my oily face and nothing comes close to how effective this thing is..

I've tried MoM yesterday, it was very effective at keeping my face non-oily. It was probably the best thing I tried for oily skin.

What's the best way to apply it without leaving white streaks across the face?
I have to rub some water on it after 3-5 min of applying to get rid of it.
