Hi all. Some of you may remember me from my "5th Course of Accutane" thread about 7 months ago. Just thought I'd post a few pictures showing the progress.

I think there's been a fairly significant improvement, and I can finally shave without worrying about exposing my bad skin or my scars. Hopefully this will show those of you who are just beginning Accutane than there is hope and you can expect to see your skin begin to clear up soon!

Five courses, I can't believe it! You look great, though.

I pretty much stopped breaking out sometime in early January, but that's the only real "in between" picture I took. I didn't take any pics between October and February because there was very little progress to show.

Anyway, thanks to all for the replies and good luck on your own personal acne-fighting journeys cool.gif

Hey-
i saw your post about taking Bactrim simultaneously with Accutane.
Did you end up taking it? I was just prescribed Bactrim in addition to Accutane for the inflamation. I was just wondering what your experience was.
Thanks

Your skin looks good. I can't believe you've been through 5 courses. That would really test me having to take accutane for that long lol. I'm only on my 4th month of my first full course and I can't wait to be done with the dry skin, sore joints, and always having to remember chapstick everywhere I go.
