I just realized this too. I liked that feature.

The decision was made to restrict the ability to delete posts in order to maintain the integrity of the flow of conversation within the topic. In the event that a member wishes to have a post deleted, s/he may contact a moderator and make that request. Requests will be considered on an individual basis.

My computer tends to mess up though and I end up posting the same thing more than once.

That's happened to me too, but only when I get a server timed out message. I wasn't a veteran member at the time, so I'd edit the duplicate post and type "Double post". I'm assuming moderators will delete the double posts on their own.

I find this site to be very hard to maneuver through at times, which is why I don't logon to often. My question now is how do you quote someone in your reply? I read there's a quote button at the end of every post but I NEVER SEE IT! I'm confused. :/

Ok, so I followed the link you (Wynne) supplied & I STILL DON'T SEE a 'quote' button, nor a 'reply' button on the left side to reply to or quote a specific post. AGH!! :S

Ah, that's a good point. Perhaps c'est will update her post about the different skins available to members. The acne.org 2.0 is the most functional for members.
