Hm lately ive been very annoyed with the skin. this year has been a big hormonal change for me i guess because for the first time in my life i have been suffering with cystic acne. hmm i hate it so much but the good news is im going to the derm. soon. Hopefully they can prescribe me an antibiotic (i have moderate acne [mild without the cystic] but i have brown/red dots where i had the scares [totally smooth thank g.d]) Because I am a must-have-now results kind of person i was bored and wanted to know what options i may be given by the derm. on tuesday. hmmm idk im just kinda down and knowing change will pert me up :)

Sounds like we have the same kind of skin, I only get cystic pimples once in awhile that cause scarring. I wish I could find a treatment specifically for cystic pimples instead of something harsh for general acne. Keep us updated!

Try silicol masks. Completely natural and studies have shown that after 3 months you won't get any new cysts (and probably you'll be completely acne-free). I read similar stories about the Lerosett mask, but I have no experience with it.

mhmm same im going to the derm in a couple days so after i get back ill be sure to post what he told me ;) i guess if ive learned anything over the year (almost a year of on and off cystic cystic acne just that and some scaring) its that i have friends that love me regardless of my skin and thats a great feeling ;) i mean my acne isnt nearly as terrible as some of the other people here but it affects me; i guess we are partially fortunate for that and a possible cure :) ill keep u posted
