I have these non inflamed bumbs around the corners of my mouth and you can only see them if i open my mouth wide and i dont know how to get ride of them. Recenlty some of them got infected and turned into a nasty cold sore and this is the second time it happened. I didnt pick at them or scratch them but they seem to be the starters of my cold sores. Can anyone tell me how to treat them so i dont get anymore coldsores? Thank You

If you are really getting cold sores, they are unrelated to clogged pores. They're caused by a virus.
If your mouth sores are more like pimples ... you might try switching to an organic toothpaste and see if the problem goes away. Some people are sensitive to sulfates in toothpaste.

I get these bumps around my mouth too.. You can only see them if I use my tongue to push out my lip... What are these? Occasionally I get a pimple or two around these areas... Anyway to get rid of these?

I have these too! They're really tiny and are only visible when I stretch the skin around the area. I've picked and squeezed at them in the past and that only lead to more problems (developed into pimples and eventually left pores than were larger than they were originally). If I get a pimple there or feel a bump, I just apply BP and that usually does the trick. Nothing seems to eliminate them.. but it doesn't really bother me anymore. The best thing to do is to leave them alone.

I was experiencing breakouts close to the corner of my mouth and went out and bought a sodium lauryl sulfate free toothpaste, and haven't experienced any of those zits since. During the Easter holiday I visited my parents back home and used their colgate (or crest, something like that!) toothpaste, and the next morning had a whitehead close to the corner of my mouth. Maybe it is your toothpaste, try switching!

This can also be caused by a vitamin B deficiency OR a bacterial infection (usually treated w/ bactroban ointment).
Try assuring you are getting adequate vitamins first and see if it clears.

Oh man i have this too! I use dessert essence toothpaste--doesn't have too bad of ingredients! I am also very careful with how I eat my food so it doesn't get around my mouth (I'm prone to zits around the mouth).
I don't know what to tell ya! I sorry!
