Yep, absolutely!

Update: The dry patches have turned more brown as dead skin should look. My skin started to peel off in some parts this morning (I helped it along by scrubbing gently with shower gloves), and the new skin underneath looks fresh and un-scarred --and also very soft, of course! It's still slightly pink, so I won't go nuts scrubbing away for a while until the dead skin wants to come off more easily. I can't wait until it all comes off!

So, it's been a week now, and 98% of the dry skin is flaked/scrubbed off by now. My back doesn't seem to have any obvious acne scars or random spots of hyperpigmentation and it's still far from perfect, but it looks a lot better... Unfortunately, there was sort of a trade-off. The skin underneath the dry/peeling patches are now slightly darker than the rest of my skin. So basically there's like random splotches of somewhat darker skin on my back. lol. I did some googling and read that hyperpigmentation can sometimes result on areas treated by a chemical peel, but it's normally temporary although the discoloration can last up 2 years. I seriously doubt this is going to last 2 years (trying to think on the bright side, lol) but I'm putting on aloe vera gel, apple cider vinegar, some neosporin, and Dan's AHA+ lotion. I think I might look into putting some hydroquinone product on it, though, so I'll have to look up some brands/products for that. Even though I actually prefer them to the random spots of acne scars, I want these dark patches gone, fast! It's kind of important... Anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

I can say that for me, this technique definitely did not work as advertised. I live in the USA, so I even went as far as to order the PanOxyl 10 Wash from the UK. I've got a good deal of scarring on my back, both indented scars and raised scars, and some hyperpigmentation. I'd apply it once a day and let it air dry. Around day 4 or 5, it started to get dry and scaly. By day 7 or 8 (I did it for 8 days), it was really tight, red, and scaly. It started to peel around day 10, I think, and the peeling process lasted about a week. So I'm pretty sure that all this happened just as it was supposed to.
But after all the peeling was done, I really didn't see any improvement. The same indented scars, the same raised scars. My back still looks nasty. The reddish marks may have faded a little, but I don't think so.
So maybe it works better for some people than others, but I have to say that I think this thing is pretty much nonsense, as far as I can tell.
