Hi sunblock101,

Please keep us posted on your result and I'm really eager to do it myself too. BTW, may I ask where did you buy your TCA Cross? Same place as where Reilly got his? Anythings else you're using or taking for your recovery? How much downtime anyway?

Anyone please help!

Best luck to you sunblock101

Hi sunblock101,
Yes please keep us in the loop. When I get my 12.5% TCA, I am going to apply it to my ice pick scar too. I have one on my left cheek. I chose to go easy at first with the 12.5 and see how it goes, then maybe later if I'm not happy I'll jump it up ANOTHER NOTCH!! (as Emiril would say!).

i think you will be disappointed with the 12.5%. I have that, and it doesn't do jack for icepicks.

Yeah, in order to get results with an ice pick scar, it is necessary to cross treat it with a very strong TCA solution, building up to 100% when your skin can take it. (but be careful! exclaim.gif ) 12.5% is supposed to be used more as a full-pace medium depth peel. It can help with light rolling scars, but is mainly used for improving skintone and anti-ageing.

Tracy,
Your skin looks GREAT. :-) I am a newbie here so please pardon my ignorance but what is the cross method of applying the TCA that you are talking about? Do you just apply it to the scarred area or is it a method of application over the entire face.
Thank you.

Just my 2 cents. Many people here are providing very valuable information. All of us who are grateful for this shared knowlege should show thanks by reading each post from beginning to end before asking quetions (Do your research). This way we dont have to keep asking the same question over and over when they already have been answered.

I just finished my smoothbeam treatments and now I am ready to for tca cross. Like I said before Ihave bought the stuff already in 100% solution. I am curious to know if anyone has expereinced new scars from doing this method themselves due to getting it on good skin. Should I dillute it on my first time. My blisters have finally gone almost from the smoothbeam so I will wait another week before having to return with scabs again, to work.

From what I've read your results from tca cross will be much better if you use copper peptides afterwards to help the skin grow back.

I bought a jar of colostrum powder for ten dollars off of vitaminlife.com. I

I went to order some from vitaminlife.com, but they have so many different varieties of colostrum (didn't see any for $10). Can you tell me which brand/strength you bought?

Thanks

I didn't see one for $10, but this one is about $12:
Now Foods
Colostrum Powder
UPC: 733739032140 Powder 3 oz. $11.67
I don't know if it's the one she got or not.

Oosp that wasn't me who bought the colostrum......I was quoting Scorpion-Vixen from another thread, so I couldn't answer reliably on that. Here's that thread.
