Has anyone done TCA cross and made their scars worse?

Also is it suitable to use on deep boxcar type scars as well as icepicks?

thanks

i crossed a few scars several months ago. one is a quite wide rolling scar. i hit that one twice, but still only touched the center of the scar.. well the center seems to have filled in pretty much. looks like a cirkel scar around it now, up close anyways, from a distans it still looks like a rolling scar. last week i crossed it again, on one side, dont now if i hit the edges or not. waiting to see what happens. *fingers crossed*

yeah, and the other few scars i did last time- no change. but i think i was to careful with those. they frosted a little bit, but did not scab, just a flake of dead skin on it

Hello, anyone around here anymore?

Just wanted to ask if anyone has ordered for the TCA Cross Method from perfectcomplexion.net? How's the product? Effective?

I sent an enquiry email to their email but has not gotten any replies since 2 days ago. I am usually not very confident of product sellers who do not answer emai promptly.

Any other places where I can get the TCA Cross?

I wanted to reply with things I wish I was able to find out about TCA Cross before I tried it.

First I did buy from Julie, as I said in another post short of asking a chemist I have no idea if it's actually 100% but I have little doubt it's a powerful acid. My experience with her TCA Latte product gives me some doubts about the shelf life of the stuff but it is what it is afaik.

Now I'm an asian male in my mid 20s with a number of mild ice picks and boxcars.

What everyone should understand before considering TCA cross or any other scar treatment is the wide variation between what one considers a mild scar and what one considers making it better or worse. For example my scars look different at particular times of day and that is due to how tight and clean my skin is at anytime. Keep this in mind when you hear claims like TCA made huge improvements in my scars or TCA made my scars a lot worse.

So some things I learned from TCA Cross that I think you should know.

1. Well I already knew this, but cross is heavily dependent on your own health and ability to heal, you should have your own idea how sensitive your skin really is, and if you scar easily, I wouldn't recommend it.

2. Cross will irratate the skin around where you put your acid and the area will be inflamed for a very long time, for me it's about 2-4 weeks.

3. As to how well TCA cross works, as someone that's been on through 2 and considering a 3rd soon, it hasn't been dramatic so far and it's hard to say whether it's made any long term change is there. What I can say for certain is whether or not my scars are filling in, the "sides" are not getting smaller. My scarring is at most a mm in depth and 2-3 mms wide and while some of them "look" better I haven't magically erased any. But if they have made them worse, they at the most made a scar a mm wider.

Hope that helps.
