Just an FYI:
Those of you replying to Reilly and responding to other posters: check the dates you're responding to! I've noticed some people responding to posts from SIX years ago. Reilly: Last Seen: 1st March 2006 12:49 PM

Also, there are TONS of threads with detailed explanations of how to do TCA CROSS and where to get 100% TCA. RESEARCH before asking. This applies to some posters from Aug 2009.

PS: This is a great thread and it's nice to see it bumped up every once in a while for the right reasons. wink.gif

Agreed!

this thread is really cool and positive, i've been here like million times lol!

Fellow, what's your opinion on the EGF cream used during this treatment? I've heard that it can encourage the cancer cells growth? And BTW, I didn't get the exact idea of how she actually used the cream, like right after the procedure or did she wait till the scabs are off? and how was the cream used, like a spot treatment? and like for the whole day or only at nights perhaps?

I just got some 100% TCA and tried a few spots. It really does seem to work for those 1/8" and smaller dings. I am still fresh but it seems to destroy the bad skin and forms an ideal healing scab. The scab then falls off and underneath seems to be naturalized skin albeit flaming red at this point. Every day it normalizes more in color but remains level! I am doing it 1X per month so I have 3 more weeks til my next session.

I have read through the entire thread and not many posts mention where is a good place to get TCA 100%.

The links that were posted no longer work anymore...

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thank you.

Its been about 3 weeks since the scabs fell off. The scars still looks enlarge although some scars show slight improvements.

I think i went pretty aggressive, I firmly pressed the toothpick (smaller than the average toothpick that was included in the kit) for about 3 seconds. I tried to put the acid on the scars but it was difficult without it touching the walls, the toothpick somewhat covered the entire scar pit. After 3 weeks some ice pick scars were definitely deeper and wider, the small scar pores look like icepick scars and im wondering if i did damage. I think it kinda boils down to the technique or probably I need more time.

I understand that people said that the treatment need more time until the collagen kicks in but some people see results after a week or two, others right away. Should i be panicking right now?

Hello Wynn,

I read that you have done TCA cross yourself.

May I know do you stretch the scar while applying the TCA cross? I read that it helps to let the TCA cross reach the base of the scar better.

What are your views on this? =)

How long are you supposed to leave 100% TCA on a scar when performing the CROSS?

Hi, based on what I have read on how other people use TCA cross, they insert the tip of the toothpick (soaked with TCA acid and make sure the acid is not dripping) into the center of the scar for about 2 to 3 seconds and lift it up. Next, the treated area will frost (turns milky white).

But please read up more on this before trying it on yourself. I have read a lot about TCA cross but I have not tried it on myself yet. Good luck... =)

Great thread. Too bad alot of the 'TCA CROSS Gurus' appear to have fallen off the face of the board.

It would be great to have a sort of step by step easily/readily available.

wash face, disinfect.

dip tooth pick (sharpen it into a smaller point if need be, according to size of scar) into TCA solution, this solution isn't as runny as water so it should drip too much, but don't dip the whole tooth pick, just the tip.

use a magnified mirror, in superb lighting so as to clearly see the skin scars.

strech skin out with one hand and apply coated tooth pick tip to scar, apply medium pressure, wait a complete two seconds or so.. shortly thereafter frosting occurs.

Allow hours to go by without addressing the skin, waiting until frosting becomes faded, then apply your vaseline/healing moisture lotion.

As skin heals over the next week and half keep areas moist to aid in accelerated healing

wait until 4-6 weeks has passed to proceed with next treatment/session.

Well, this is my compilation from what I've read across the forums.. I'm waiting for my order of 99% TCA cross kit from skinperfection - or whatever it's called, by that Julie Robinson person.. would Love to hear from others who've done this process with a medical professional or on their own..
Thanks to everyone past and present for sharing their knowledge and experience. : )
