Hello, this is my first post because Im kind of desperate for some advice right now.
I started taking Spiro last year around June/July. I was on 75mgs a day then in December I went up to 100mgs. Things were going OK.. I was not clear but I also was not overly broken out. Anyway I wanted to keep going for a few more months on the 100mg dose. But about maybe 3 weeks ago now I ran out of spiro and had to go and get a new prescription, but I didnt go because I was broken out and felt just rotten. So I put it off.. then I started missing more days and my skin got worse and now it is a complete and total mess. Im breaking out like never before. I dont see how I will ever go outside again. I know that if I go back on Spiro it will be like starting from the beginning. But should I bother? Right now I feel SO hopelessly lost. I feel ugly, stupid and im really just hanging by a thread here. If my skin broke out really badly when I stopped Spiro does that mean it was working? =/ Please help me decide what to do! I feel so alone, I cant talk about this to anyone. Thanks.

I think it's worth it- if your skin is that bad now, what do you have to lose?
As far as breaking out after- I know that happens to some ppl, like when they stop BCP's...it just depends on your hormones and I think it does mean Spiro was helping you.
Just get to derm...wear yoru hair down and sunglasses if you have to, but go and don't stop taking it!

Thanks Heather, I know you're right. I was having a seriously bad week and you know, its easy to feel just so hopeless.

Ugh so I shall start Spiro over again! This is never ending.
