Warning: Rant. But please, offer me something, because I'm at my wits end... (And then post your rant of the day!)



Three years ago, when I joined this site, I plastered my album photos and page with the following information: I can and will NOT take accutane.

Yet here I am, three years later, and people (some of whom are the EXACT SAME PEOPLE from years ago) are still leaving comments in my albums saying that my face hasn't improved, etc etc. (Many of these people are the same ones who called me fat and "ridiculous" looking, when I posted pictures of, well, my breakouts.)

Unfortunately, this has gotten to my last nerve, and I'm sorry to say that I'll no longer be posting pictures on acne.org. I will leave my DKR gallery up to hopefully inspire and help future users along their way... But after receiving yet another one of these comments (from someone who I've told before I will not take accutane) I've taken down my current gallery and will no longer post pictures.

I'm just so sick of these people being so disrespectful and rude, almost like they are doing this on purpose just to piss me off and remind me that my skin isn't perfect, still.


There was really no point in writing this either, except for myself, to end my photo days here at acne.org. I'm glad I've inspired and helped so many people and hope I continue to do so..

...and to a select few... stuff a sock in it.

These people are mean on purpose? Have they been around here for a while? The first thing that came to mind is that some new person to the site comes across your picture and says something, but I don't know. It shouldn't matter what they think, you already know you look good, or what have you. Nothing wrong with getting rid of your pictures either.

starlogic i have read and seen your gallery and you are so inspiring! You are a beautiful girl and your sense of humor is amazing. I saw a HUGE improvemnet in your skin as well. Those jerks just need to get a life. They are awful people. dont listen to them!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry you've had such a bad experience. Most people on this site are wonderful...it really sucks that you've encountered the few less than friendly ones.

This site needs people like you. There is so much depression and anxiety on this site; only a select few make it worse, but you actaully care about people and want to help. You genuinely tried and seem to care about people; trying to show them there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Who cares what a select few think? There will always be someone to hate on you, jealousy spreads and with a beautiful person posting pics; Well, there will be some hating. You must be as beautiful on the inside as you are on the out. Focus on the ones you help and get encouragement from your posts/pics and such. This site needs poeple like you!!!!
