I started taking Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo (prescribed my my gyno) and Amoxicillin 17 days ago.

Amoxicillin by my derm for my Acne while I am waiting to go on Accutane. I kind of think of it as a joke when I swallow the two pills at once because antibiotics are suppose to take away from the effectiveness of birth control (I'm not taking it for birth control reasons--just to control my periods)

I know antibiotics don't cause IB but can I get an IB from the OTC lo?

My acne is MUCH worse than it was 17 days ago. I never had cysts and now I have a few along my jaw line.

I'm suppose to start Accutane on March 6th. If this is not IB and the birth control is making my acne worse...should I switch and try a new kind?
