Alright so your chin isn't bad at all. Your forehead seems a little worse. But you have a very mild case of acne. If you want to see a severe case of acne go to the accutane galleries here.
That's what I do when I feel like my face is "terrible"

anyways, I'd recommend just a mild cleanser like cetaphil. Or try Dan's regimen sideways.gif

Hi Vertrex.

Don't panic.. it isn't that bad. My acne is very similar to yours. It is called comedonal acne a.k.a. whiteheads. They happen when your pores become clogged and the trapped oil and bacteria cause an inflammation of the skin. Even though they are a lot less noticeable than the big red papules and pustules caused by cystic acne, they are very difficult to get rid of... as they tend to be really stubborn and take for ever to go away.

The only thing that will get rid of them are topical retinoids. Your best option would be Differin, it is the mildest of the retinoids. Avoid Retin-A it is too harsh and completely destroyed my skin. I would also stay away from BP (benzoyl peroxide) as it is not very effective for our type of acne and will likely just cause more irritation = more acne. An oral antibiotic + differin should be enough to clear you up.

Good luck to you! *hugs*

I think if you go to an esthetician and get some extractions done, that would be a very good start. It's not really that bad. Get something that will exfoliate, but yet be gentle and non-comodenic to use regularly.

I agree with others, your chin is not bad at all. It shouldn't be too hard to clear, even with just over-the-counter products.

It's not that bad vertex... I remember once when my doctor advice me to have an antibiotic but I seek another doctor's advice about taking meds she told me that i should opt not to take antibiotics because I can be dependent on that.. so I havent tried to take one... Anyway I agree with the guy that a mild cleanser can help lessen your problem.. wink.gif
