I am new to the forum as well as TCA peels. I did my first 8%TCA peel on Monday. I did 2 layers. It did not sting much. Alcohol on a scratch is worse. My face did not frost. I've used Neosporin for 2 days. My face look as if I dabbed my finger in egg whites once and covered my entire face with one dab. I feel no tightness, no darkness, no dryness and absolutely no peeling.
When I cleaned my face today with the green tea bar, I could see a very small amount of skin as I was patting the cleanser off with water and a soft cloth. Once it dried I saw nothing. If I peel at all it will be extremely minimal. I am starting to feel I wasted my money on a lower strength. I really hoped to see an improvement with these dark marks from acne. Looking for a miracle and it passed me this round.
I have to wait 2 or 3 weeks before I can apply again. Should I try 3 layers when I try it again or should I go with 4?
