Hello, everyone, I am Vert, I am 16 and I have had acne for the last 4 years.
I never thought it would get this bad but it has come to a point in the which I just can't take it anymore.

First my dermatologist told me it had to with diet, even though I had a healthy one I stopped eating when I felt hunger and just ate 3 times a day.

Then I was told that drinking water could help, so I started drinking 1,5 L of water everyday, it just made me go to the bathroom every hour.

Later I was told that maybe I was too much time in doors and that going out and that making a sport could help, so I stated biking.

Now, I don't have access to my monthly cleansing so it is worst than ever, nothing has ever worked and I just cant take this acne anymore, I hope this site helps me to get rid of it once and for all. I can't explain the psychological torment I experiment every day.

I am at blind point here, currently I am using the Clearasil Ultra cleaning pads but they do nothing, and they even burn my skin.

So I ask you for help, it has gotten to a point where it is just getting worse and worse.

What could I do?

Also should I blindly trust a new Dermatologist, I feel that they just want to squeeze money out of me by selling me their expensive products. confused.gif

Aww shoot man! You're having a rough go of it. Hmmm, sounds like you were doing some good things like a healthy diet and exercise. But with acne there doesn't seem to be a set rule as to what will help. I would stop the cleansing pads if they are irritating your skin. It will only make your acne worse as I found out with extremely sensitive skin. Yeah I know those derms can seem like they only care about the money and nothing else. I hope you will find something on here that can help. I'm still trying myself. Be gentle with your skin though, I think that's pretty important. Wow I really hope things start to look up for you soon!

The problem might be is that your only using a cleanser. Which gets rid of dirt but it doesnt treat the problem. We all know you never really cure acne, just treat the symptoms. So get something like benzoyl peroxide or salycic acid that you can leave on at night. This will help treat the problem from the inside. Since you are basically doing everything right on the inside. Hope this helps.
