I have recently been reading about the connection between dairy and acne and I was wondering if removing dairy from my diet is really worth losing the nutritional value. I know that there are alternatives for getting calcium and vitamin D, but is it really worth it? I have oily skin and I usually have one large pimple somewhere on my face, but everywhere else seems relatively fine (aside from a few problem areas). Does this dairy and acne connection only apply to severe/cystic acne? I drink huge amounts of milk (at least 3 glasses a day) and so it would be a huge change for me to stop my dairy intake! In any case, I hope some of you can help me. Any advice or just a simple hello would be very much appreciated.
