hello, I currently suffer from acne and felt i should sign up for this and pick up as much information as I can.

I have one pretty big question that has been bugging me for a while now. I have tried everything over the counter and home remedies none that successfully work. im 18 and i have been asking my parents for a while now if i can see a dermotologist and they always give me some bogus excuse or try to lighten my spirits and say "its not that bad" or "they will go away" well i wish that were the case.

my question is how can i get my parents to let me see a dermotologist?

i suffer from anxiety genetically and i fear if i dont see a dermotologist my acne will never subside.

can anyone help me figure out a way to approach them so i can finally see a professional?
