It makes me very self-concious cause otherwise I'm a pretty attractive 30 year old woman. eusa_boohoo.gif I can't go ANYWHERE without make-up though without feeling like people are starting at me and thinking EWW! confused.gif I've tried Pro-Activ and it seemed to make it worse bringing to the surface thousands of blackheads and keeping them just under the skin - you can't pop em cause then you have holes in your face. Which despite the fact that I know better I've still managed to give myself by getting rid of one I just couldn't stand to look at anymore. I never used to have to wear SO much make-up until I used Pro-Active, I've tried at least a dozen remedies. I really do hope this works!

Just from my experience.. (I tried Pro Activ maybe.. two months ago? Maybe a little longer).. Dan's regimen is MUCH better. Pro Activ did nothing for me.. It made my skin really, really dry, & the moisturizer didn't help at all. Plus, I think the cleanser irritated my skin.

Just stick with it, & you should be fine. smile.gif

I know what you mean about not going anywhere without make-up. I feel the same way. sad.gif
Even with make-up, I still feel like people are looking at my skin & thinking EWW!

You are not alone. I am the same, I'm 32 female with cystic acne near my jaw lines.
In my late 20s, I had acnes on my both cheeks. They cause severe deep pitted scarring, not to mention the red marks.
I can't go anywhere without a make up on.
I'm right now 32 and my acnes have shifted to my jaw lines, chin areas, and hair areas near the ears.
They are inflamed, raised and red.
They will never go away without leaving scars and red marks.
For 2 weeks at least till today I have tried the following

Drink Pure Carrot Juice, Tomato Juice, Apple Juice (i juice them myself)
Drink Apple Cider Vinegar (16oz glass with 2tbs Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar)
Use DUAC topical Gel

however i have not seen any result yet.
My personal close friend is using DUAC and she gave me a little bit for me to use.
She swore it helped fade her red marks.
It's basically 1% Clindamycin and 5% Benzoyl Peroxide.
It's very expensive, $170 for 250 Gram Tube.

I can't never swim and submerge my face b/c my face would get too oily and my mineral make up will fade, leaving me looking like a monster.
ALso some of my acnes become keloid, raised red bump with no "eye" and it will be there forever.
So you are not alone.
If I ever can change my skin like Michael Jackson without the possibility of scarring, I would do it.
but then again I'm prone to Keloid Scars.
Just my luck

Thanks guys. I will try the juice thing for sure! I'm willing to try anything at this point. It's comforting to know that I am not alone. I mean I never thought I was I just never knew I could find a place to go to talk about it. Acne therapy! I love it! Still getting the enormous red bumps that have several heads in the same area - the chin area and now my cheeks which was something I never had to worry about. My hairline as well even underneath my hair and my neck has been getting some of it too! Oy ve! I'm buying the stuff to start the regimen today so I'll be in touch to let everyone how I'm faring. Peace out have a great weekend ladies
