Hey I'm new too... I don't know where to start so I guess since this is an introductory message board, I should begin with an introduction?
I'm 20years old. and most of my 20 years I have a not so perfect skin. Until I turned twenty. with all the stress in college i started having pimples. I have gone to my dermatologist and he adviced me on regimen:
Hypo allergenic cleanser
Flagysol (1st 2 weeks) and Erthromycin (2nd 2 weeks)
Pink solution
and VAA solution (every other night)
Benoxide
Doxyxline tablets for 4 weeks
My pimples just worsen. I stopped seeing my doctor and started to cut down the regimen.
Now I have this:
Hypoallergenic cleanser
Flagysol
Pink Solition
Panoxyl (Benzoyl peroxide 2.25%)
Now tell me... am I making a bad or good decision not seeing my dermatologist? Is the new regimen I've created bad? Please, Please, Please tell me...
Newbie who needs help: BADLY

hey,
how bad are your spots/pimples? if there gettin really bad then i would keep in contact with your dermatologist. if you think the regimen he gave you isnt working then i would got back and see him. remember these poeple are there to help you, he wont be angry that his regimen isnt working, every1 is different.
looking at what you use, it seems quite alot. i used to pile the soaps and lotions on my skin, but i think that just irratated it more. all i do is cleanse and moisturise and if i get a spot, put some nixoderm(sort of the same as benzoyl) on it. i do once a week use a face scrub and mask, but i will say that if your spots are bad then a face scrub may not be the best idea.
if your still worried about your spots/regimen then definitely go back to the dermatologist.
