Hi there's so much info on this wonderful site, I was wondering if some of you could summarize what you think are the most succesful treatments or combination of treatments- i also had some additional questions-

personally, i've had 3 needling sessions w/ok results- maybe 10 or 15% improvement, but I think that only time will tell.

1. from the various threads it sounds like tca cross or needling followed by Herbamin/Sensitif cellular repair/Revive Oil at morning and night in addition to Kinerase.... has been the most successful scar removing combination- does that sound about right?

2. btw- what is tca complex- should i just stick to tca cross?

3. I saw on the tca forum where to order 50%, but where to get 100%?

4. what do these do: Hyaluronic acid supplements and Amino Plex - also do you suggest taking EFA's and protein shakes for skin healing?

i know there are a lot of questions, but i figure if these can be answered in one place it would probably be helpful for others as well-
thanks, mariana

btw- I can't offer much info in terms of scar removal... but in terms of acne removal... I have cleared up super severe cystic acne, tiredness, etc. with the following regimen which might be helpful for some of you all: of course all this info is spread out over www.curezone.com.

bowel cleansing
---------------
oxypowder or castor oil at night/sometimes a fiber shake
probiotics (1xday)
colonics (following liver flush)

for parasite cleansing and maintenance
---------------------------------------------
zap regularly (i have the a5 wrist zapper)

liver cleansing
---------------
daily gold coin grass or malic acid
biweekly liver flush

general health
----------------
vegetarian - try to eat organic
meditate and stretch every morning, oil swish before brushing.
exercise 3-4 times a week, dry skin brush before shower

My answers are in red ... and BTW, several of us are doing the liver/gallstone and bowel flushes and cleanses - the thread is here: http://acne.org/messageboard/viewtopic.php?t=17245

1. from the various threads it sounds like tca cross or needling followed by Herbamin/Sensitif cellular repair/Revive Oil at morning and night in addition to Kinerase.... has been the most successful scar removing combination- does that sound about right?

Sounds fine. I've just done a TCA CROSS and used the ReVive ... it's around day 20, can't say I have any improvements as yet.. got to give it more time. I also love the amino-plex spray (there's a thread on here about it)

I wouldn't say it's the most successful to date as there aren't many experimenters for this combo.

Others have found great success with using Retin-a-micro to build collagen ... many others have also reported success with copper peptides.

Unfortunately, everyone seems to get different results with the same products.

2. btw- what is tca complex- should i just stick to tca cross?

It's a light TCA face peel, but there's some controvercy over the ingredients.

3. I saw on the tca forum where to order 50%, but where to get 100%?

http://www.peelsondemand.com/

4. what do these do: Hyaluronic acid supplements and Amino Plex - also do you suggest taking EFA's and protein shakes for skin healing?

Amino-plex is a topical spray for wound healing, apply it after any invasive procedure to speed up healing.

Hyaluronic supplements are meant to build collagen/plump up the skin

I think EFAs are good for acne, don't know about skin healing

Protein shakes? Depends on the protein I guess. I think Goatein from Garden of Life is very good.

What is the link for this cream or oil?

You mean the Re Vive cellular repair right? Sometimes you can get cheaper off ebay. In the States, it's only Marcus neiman and Saks that sell it at $180 for 2oz ... and in the UK it's available form Space NK at £140. A load of money!!!!!!!!! So, go to ebay.com and do a search for 'Re Vive'

Does this Kinerase really help? I found a site for it called Skincare. $38 US for 40 gram tube.

Cheaper from ebay - you can buy cheap sample sizes there too ... so best to go that route to save some money. I bought 30gms worth of samples for $12!!!!!!!! And some have said it helps with smoothing the skin and red marks.

Also Whats is a good site for that Copper Peptide?

www.skinbio.com

WHich is better to use? Retin-A Cream .05 % or Retin-A Micro Gel .1%?

The micro I think - coz it's time released. I find retin-a irritating

I found a site where I can buy a Microdermabrasion machine for $2500 brand new.

I like Microdermabrasion cause the suction and sand blasting affects work synergistically to remove acne scars by many many treatments and over great time which is fine for me.

Only problem is this. I don't think its a good Idea to be using Retin-A, TCA or any AHA chemicals when using that machine or am I wrong?

Can you use the machine then wait two weeks follow up with Skin Needling and cross next time? Wait a month followed by another Microdermabrasion treatment? Then wait another month and follow another treatment?

I think 2 weeks is too soon. You should wait 4 weeks minimum.

WHy can't an indivudual do his own treatments? I don't see how a Dermatologist can perform these treatments any differently if you are skilled yourself at doing them.

Anyhow thanks for reading my email.

BTW that Hyaluronic Acid really really works but 10% can Burn if you do any of those treatments I meantioned above so be carefull!!

Mariana

If you wanna have a chance to build collagen in your scars, i d say you need to bring a protein input in your diet. I respect the fact that your vegeterian, but you must probably have a reduced amino acid pool in your body, and they re more likely to end up in vital proteins than in collagen synthesis, i guess. Anyway, from a metabolic point of view and your overall health in general, you absolutely need to include proteins in your meals
On the opposite, excess free a.a. are quickly degraded or are used to build up nitrogen containing compounds, but you ve got better chances to build up collagen if you are in excess (and you give it favorable conditions, i.e. no smoking, lots of ascorbate).
At least, try to eat soja, do you eat fish?

i don't eat fish- i'm a strict vegetarian. i eat protein from other sources like most veggies- beans, nuts, soy etc...

i don't think i am protein deficient, but i am interested in increasing protein intake if it aids in collogen building etc... i'm simply trying to speed up the process

btw- i'm not a nutritionist but i think there are a lot of misconceptions about protein from animal sources as well as how much protein the body needs... proper food combining is the best way to make use of the protein one is intaking.... i've done some research (just putting it out there....)

anyway,
thanks for the suggestions- i think i will start doing some protein shakes and efa's etc...

sure you can email me- i've had a lot of experience w/all sorts of treatments from antibiotics to accutane, chinese medicine to homeopathy ...and on and on...

i've had the best success by bowel cleansing and liver flushing, although b5 provided some relief as well as homeopathic medicine and zapping.

the best source of info is on www.curezone.com

in any case, you can email me at marora8@aol.com
