it's also very fickle and dry, yet gets huge cysts
i'm trying out dan's regimen on my back currently with success (knock on wood) but i just can't seem to ge tmy ches tused to it
i've gone as slowly as possible, it just terrorizes my skin there

I get those under my bra straps too! It could be irritation from detergent or just dirt underneath the strap. And BP on my chest, NO WAY. I get little microbials all over my chest and collar bones, no big red ones. For me just water and a wash cloth before bed make them go away for the most part.

For some reason my chest is completely different than my face. I can't use medicated creams or chemicals on my chest or I break out.

Moved to the Body Acne forum--"Discuss issues related to back, chest, and other body acne."

The Neck Acne forum is for discussing neck acne.

What helped my body acne is Dans Cleanser then Acnefree Scar fade and Erase. Also if you can Tan, DO IT!! Tanning helps so much. you will be clear in two weeks.

It's funny that you just found this because I just posted something about my chest haha
i suggest against tanning, as it causes more breakouts in the long run

Hi everyone. I'm a girl and I'm 21 and had acne for about 10 years. I'va been on Dan regimen for 6 months and it really works great on my face. But I still have acne on my chest and breast (and on my back) and I wonder what to do about that: can I use Dan's products on my chest ?? Which ones? I read AHA and BP can be too harsh, what do you people use ? please help me. I also consider taking Accutane, but I'd like to try something else before taking this drug. Thanks guys.

Sure you can use Dan's products on your chest & back. If you click on "Get clear" at the top of the page, you can follow the body acne regimen.

I use AHA+ on my back (which is now clear), and BP on my chest (which is also now clear). I did try AHA+ on my chest but it didn't seem to help in my case. If I were you, I would try AHA+ on it's own for your chest & back first, as it doesn't bleach your clothes like BP does.

I find the thing that helps most with my chest acne is to not to anything, jsut wash with sensitive dove soap and get lots of water/sleep. I have tried using BHA, clindamycin and differin and they all broke me out like crazy, like I went from having 5 spots, to 100. They are all gone down now, i only have 2 small spots, and I am unsure what what else to try because it seems irritation causes them.

in addition, has anyone else had spots on a sensitive area where it seems to come to a pretty defined head, but, at the least bit of pressure, develops into an open wound that doesn't close up easily and secretes little sebum?

I had a really bad experience with Accutane - I already have acne on my back face and chest but when I started the Accutane I broke out like crazy..but I have also heard alot of people having great success. On the other hand I have also heard great things about vinegar and although I have just started using vinegar on my chest and back , my skin is clearing a little..but make sure you aplly it at night as it stinks lol.gif..I hear lemon juice is also really good.

r a month now and it is definetly working.

I put 1 part ACV and 3 parts water in a glass container and apply it to my skin 2 times a day. I also drink it throughout the day in glasses of water. 1-2 tsps in a 8 oz glass is good.

Just look at labels and try and get organic ACV. If it says, "THE MOTHER" on the front, should be good.

I have moderate bacne and some on my chest on shoulders. But I changed my lifestyle completely and in combination with the ACV, I think thats why its working.

I stopped eatting dairy products and am trying to stick with gluten free foods. Lots of fruits and vegetables/nuts/quiona and steak too....MMM good.

Also, I jog at least 1 mile a day 5 days a week and get some sun. I dont use any cleansers or nothing, just water to rinse it off. I feel like the sun and the sweat clean out my pores and the water rinses it off.

I think the only way to get rid of acne is through a combination of different things, and it seems to be different with everyone.
