I was wondering if birth control only takes care of jawline acne... or does it help with all over the face, back and chest? Oh and if i wanna use it also as a contraceptive, is it absolutely imperative that i start on the first day of my period?
Sorry just thought of a few more Qs lol umm did it help anyone with oilyness and blackheads?
AAND last one i promise...would it be too harsh to keep using differin while on yasmin (it really dries out my skin but it works pretty well)

It helps balance hormones which means it can potentially help all acne as all acne is hormone related with the exception of pores clogged from topicals or pollutants.
You start on the first day if you want continuous protection from then on. Most people wait and start on a Sunday, and if you do, you have to use some other form of BC for a while. This will be explained in the instructions.
