i found out that even if i don't pop a pimple, it will still leave a red then brown spot. also if i don't pop it, it will take ages for the pimple to go away. anybody else have the same problem? then does it make sense to pop if being done properly?

Of course. People know their own skin and how they personally react if they pop or don't pop. Some people find that, even if they leave it completely alone (like you), a mark will still be left behind. Many people (like me) find the best results when squeezed properly. I haven't had to do it for a while though. ::phew:: ::knocks on wood::
