I have had horrible cystic acne after having my 2nd child a little over a year ago. I've had bouts of it previously in my life but never this badly. As I'm still trying to conceive I'm looking for natural ways to clear it up.

Hello,
I have trouble with adult cystic acne after becoming pregnant and after giving birth. I am now on Accutane after trying everything else. It is working for me. Its a pain to have to go to the doctors once a month to do a blood test and urine test to make sure you are not pregnant but well worth it to me. I would suggest speaking to your doctor about accutane if you are willing to take it.
I hope this helps.

Thanks my doctor has mentioned it to me although I am nervous wit the side effects, are they intense, guess it is worth it, I may give it a shot I've been on a medication called solodyn for about a month in a half now, seems as no new break outs although I do wish the results were quicker, patience is a virture.

People have suggested through readings Organic Green Tea, also Aloe vera Juice.

Hello! This happened to me too; you are not alone! During my pregnancy I started getting acne and it just stayed after giving birth and now my son is 4 and I still have it, but in the last 2 years it has gone from bad to worse. I was diagnosed with PCOS about a year ago and one of the main symptoms is acne. We have been dealing with infertility for over 2 years and since we are trying to get pregnant I cannot take any medications to assist with getting rid of my acne. I have been looking for a topical treatment that works. I have used EVERY cleanser and moisturizer out there and nothing helps it go away completely. I am going to try this regimen and hope that it does the trick. Goodluck with yours!

Im 19 yrs old, and I have been suffering wit cystic acne for a very long time. Since I was about 14 yrs old. I have been to doctors and made so many appointments and at the end of all of this I still have the same problem. I have been in the hosptial for this and i have tryed creams, everything. But I never tried the acctune, there was about two times I was going to start it but never did. I was on the birth control and everything and I never started the acctune. Maybe that my fault for not keepin up the appointments as much as I should have been. This acne is painful, it brings me to tears because I dont let this acne break who I am. I love myself and im not ashamed of who I am. I embrace myself so much, and from the grace of god he has put people in my life that loves me and try to understand. I wouldn't wish it on no one. But sadly for me my father and his side of the family has the same problem. Now I'm gettin to the point where acctune is the best option. I mostly get the acne on my back and my chest, sometimes on my face. It leaves scaring, dark spot,( like under the skin holes), its crazy and it amazing that I have gone though this for 6 years of my life. Sometimes I wonder if I have children will they get it to. I'm just hoping that someone understand and can honestly and truthfully tell me whats the best option they think.

I feel your pain sweety. Acne has also put me down in the gutters. Those who don''t have this problem do no understand. I am a mother wit two children I never had acne until three months ago. Prior to this occuring I never payed attention to individuals with this suffering.Like you said I to do not wish this on anyone. It brings alot of heart ache, continually in the mirror, sad at times. Well I hope my children do not have to suffer as I have but for the most part I will continue my journey until I heal myself so that if this occurs to either one I will be there to assist them in their battle. I've been to the dermatologist numerous of times. I have gotten injections for my cyst which I love because they go right away, I use a product from Obaji, called clenziderm, I say it has helped.I also have changed my eating habits cut out alot of the junk food, LIVE BY ORGANIC GREEN TEA cleans ur digestive system. I drink alot of water. To be honest I''m so over having to constently do this I feel if I stop one bit it will get worse. It is in a controlled state. I have spent a numerous amount of money this is what has driven me to the point of accutane. At my last appointment My Derm suggested accutante. I've seen the miraculous effects of it on the site, and it has convinced me that I to should do accutane..Just a bit nervous. I pray to god that I can get over this so that I can go back to being that social being. I must say that I have learned to be kind to everyone, not to judge a book by its cover by the context of the lyrics. Some people are brutal and dont understand are pain. Society has to do alot with those perceptions do to the idea of what beauty is defined. If only everyone could see past what we look like and see how gorgeous we are. I'll let you know if I go through with the accutane I''ll make my decision FEBUARY 1. Take care
