Just had my 3rd treatment yesterday, stacked 6 times over my cheeks at 1400 level and it hurt a little. Will keep you all updated with progress.

Hi All

Well its been a month since my fourth and last treatment. I have definitely experienced an improvement. However, like everyone else has reported, all the scars are still visible they are just less deeper. I thought the treatment would mean some scars would disappear but this is not the case at all. I would say overall I have about 40% improvement, that is, the scars are about 40% less deep, and some are just almost surface scars now. On a day to day basis I would say its been a huge improvement. However, under harsh lights it is still pretty bad but that is probably because my scarring is so extensive.

My doctor said for me to wait for three months before a further consultation as there will be improvements over time.

Its been a week since my 2nd treatment, first was 1100, 2nd was 1400 (what were ur settings), nxt and last treatment is gna b higher and stacked twice! but yet, my scars are horrid to look at standing under the light, i hate it!!!!!!!!!! but i must admit the scars have slightly improved, bin drinking alot of water to help it (thats what iv been told, how bout u lot?), but i really do hope they get better months after my final treatment as they say it would and what ive read online, if not, i might book another 3 treatments or might even go to the doc u went to and get 4 treatments done for the same price!

Sorry i have not been on here for ages, i had 3 treatments full face in the end - I would say some of my scars are 15-20% better, i really was hoping for better after 3 treatments, but saying that i have only had 1 tratment at the highest setting.

In a couple of hours i am leaving to go again for a 'top up' which as far as im aware is on the effected scar areas and not full face, which i am a bit happier about, beacuse i dont want that laser near my eyes again, after my last treatment in June my eyes where so puffed up i could hardly see when going home.

Like SJW said, my scars have not gone, but they are less deep, one rolling scar is alot less noticable, some of my ice pick scars are not that deep now, but if anything they look slightly wider but alot lot less deeper. the odd scar here and there looks exactly the same, which is annoying.

My only concern i have had the odd out break of cysts, only 1 or 2 at a time, but one of them has left another scar sad.gif I really do think im fighting a losing battle sometimes, but reading more advise off the net i have learnt to not even pop it even if it has a head now and looks totally ready, i wack ice on it, and even though it hangs around longer they dont seem to scar.

Overall my face does look healthier though, and moving away from the scars, my overall complexion looks better, it especially did for the 1st couple of months after it.

Im going to have this one today and one more and thats me done i think, im hoping these next two will give me a at least a 40% improvement.

Anyone else have any updates?

how many sessions did you have?

ive had 4 treatments, the last one was a top up and ive got another top up nxt month and dats it for me aswell, too much money spent!

gna tell him to go over multiple times to really hit them scars!!!!!!!! argh!

how many times did he stack urs? mine has been twice for the past 2 treatments and scars still the same, but slight improvement....still cant hold my head held up high sad.gif

but SJW has had 5 times stacked and only abit of impreovment....im shocked n scared!!!!! but results depend person to person sad.gif why can it not be all the same!

my previous treatment: the scab/dead skin had fallen of a few days after the treatment and i cudnt see a single scar (my skin wasnt puffy/swollen btw) BUT a week later, my skin started to sag to its original state sad.gif i was so happy, then the smile was swiped of my face in a jiffy sad.gif

I'm planning on getting pixel done for my full face in February. I have pretty bad scars and very uneven complexion (red marks, blotchy, oily in areas) It will be my first time, I'm pretty tolerant to pain so I'm going to request the Dr to go aggressive at max. Do you guys recommend that? Also to those that have got it done, did you notice a decrease in oil production?

I thought the same as u, but as it hit my face....OUCH!!!!!!!!!...and that was only at 1100! i had to put numbing cream on for all my treatments!

u cant stop oil with pixel. it only treats scars, fine lines etc...but i have to say i have seen improvement prolly bout 30%, iv had 5 treatments, the last 3 at 1800 and stacks 3/4 times.

this doc said u see results straight away, whereas the doc at samedaydoc says u seem them in few months after final treatment.....confused!

Just thought I would give an update. Its been five months since my last treatment and I have noticed improvements over that time. In normal light, the improvement has been good but its still bad under artificial light. Photos of me do look a lot better and I am less self conscious. I'm really pleased I had the treatment and would recommend it. I might consider having more tretments later this year.
