i'm on trisprintec, i guess i have been for a long time now. my question is, can bc pills break u out worse? i know there supposed to help acne, which is why i went on them in the first place! but i don't know if it's doing anything? should i be on the non generic? do u think it would work better? (orthrotricycln)

Trisprintec is the only bc that ever helped my acne. I was on it from age 22 to 33 and it worked very well for me. I'm going back on it tomorrow as a matter of fact, but this time more for actual birth control purposes as my acne finally seems to be under control for the first time in my 34 years.
In my opinion the only diff between trisprintec and the name brand is price. I've never taken anything but generic drugs (because most ins won't pay for name brand if there's a generic equivalent available) and I'm a firm believer that generic is just as good as the "real" thing almost 100% of the time.
