I have heard several people say that it stung them. It doesn't sting others.

Yup - the INTENSE GEL R-ALA stung me badly for the first few times - like a burning sensation. Don't use other exfoliation products within a day or 2 of using this. Their non R-ALA doesn't sting.

I would leave the vinegar out that day b4 the intense gel ... when your face gets used to it, then you can do the vinegar the same day too.
I've got used to it now so can do other peel methods at the same time.

You know when something stings, it itches, turns red and for me it left a slighlty brown spot.
Did not touch my cheek at all unless when i was sleeping. Then there is like scrapes around my jawline. You know when you use Retin-A and it dries your skin, turns it red and inflamed. Well some people get in those inflamed regions scrapes, red lines. It's kind of weird to explain.
Sometimes you can overdo it when you don't realize it. I learned that this week. You are stripping the natural sebum of your face whenever you wash with cleanser, put scrubs or PD then cleanser again, moisturizer, sunscreen. My face feels tight, red, inflamed. And i think i will let my skin heal and go on for several days without cleanser, moisturizer. Is annoying sometimes you try to remedy a scar and you end up with more.
Most people will get additional scars in more invasive procedures.
But even a scrub can sand your skin.
Maybe someone can give me a suggestion. Maybe some vits will help heal the skin but the most important lesson is moderation.
