Like I said I have used the 55% and yesterday was my third time left it on for 4min. I havent seen much of a difference. It has been two weeks since I did my first one. Yes, I feel slight stinging/burning so I know its working, and its not leaving me with too much irratation since my skin doesnt go red afterwards. For those of you who have done LA peels roughly how many peels until you noticed your red/brown marks fading. I know the directions say 6-8 peels for best results, but shouldnt there be marked improvement along the way. My red marks havnt been here for ages, and I'm not expecting a miracle but some indacation would be nice. Glycolic Acid is too harsh for me tried it twice, and TCA complex I have, but just dont like the feedback from it so far. I know time will help improve red marks, but shouldnt LA too.

You're meant to use lactic acid approximately once a week for six weeks at a time. If you haven't seen improvement after using it six times, then go to a higher percentage or use a different type of peel instead. It's best to start slowly and move up if necessary rather than causing damage to your skin. I don't use it for hyperpigmentation, I use it for tone and texture.

I guess...it seems a lot of different people use it for hyperpigments and leave it on for a very long time. I'll give it the time, what else I got to do.
