I've never had a major problem with red marks and acne scars before I started using mino 2 months ago. Each pimple would form, then be gone in a week or two. Now, it is taking forever for acne to heal. I have marks that have been on my face for almost a month. I could see how maybe the mino would slow the healing, but this is pretty bad. I haven't picked anything for several weeks now. If I do, it will take forever the mark to go away. So should I be doing something else besides the treatments listed in the FAQ, and is everything going to heal up quick after I finish mino?

I dont know what minor is but here some hope: It's normal, red spots heal over a very long period of time (3 months minimum). I am sorry they just dont heal sooner. I am claer of acne but one red mark is still visible from a pmple I had 2 months ago. What you want to do is go on the regimen and trust that those red marks dissapear. As for scarring I headr that TCA works great do a search on the forum for more details.

I've been on mino for about 6 months now. I see where you're coming from with the healing. Any small pimple i get remains on the skin for a while, and leaves a red mark for a while. But this is much better then getting the cysts i got last year. I'm virtually 100% clear.

Mind you I'm also using Clindamycin and Retin-A which are a good combination with mino. Are you on this too? It could be helpful and help you clear up any active acne quicker.

Right now I'm also using clydimycin and a sodium phosphate cream. I think that these are used primarily to kill acne rather than heal scars. Right now I get maybe 2 new pimpes each week, which isnt too bad. How long does it take you red marks to heal while on mino?

Takes about 1-2 months. I wouldn't be worried about red marks you get from mino. I'd be worried about indentations, which I don't think you have.
