Is there a difference between Acne Scars, and Acne Red marks?
Or are they both the same thing?

Scars have a depth to them. Red marks do not.

red marks (macules) are post inflammatory hyperpigimentation left after a pimple has healed. Presumming they are reasonably flat - They are temporary, they fade - but they can take a long time to go away > 12 months plus. Exfoliating and bleaching agents can help speed this process up.
Acne scars are permanent raised or indented marks on the skin, where collagen has been lost and/or scar tissue has formed.

just a note... that not all redmarks don't fade.. well at least mine haven't. I've had mine for over 5+ years. It's pretty frustrating.
