Hi, I've been very depressed about my scars lately ... they seem to just get worse as I get older.

I was thinking about getting some sort of laser treatment, but looking around the internet and reading posts on this board, it sounds like it doesn't work if you have "ice pick" scars and other types of scars.

How do I tell if I have ice pick scars? What do they look like? Mine don't seem that deep, but there are a LOT of them (both cheeks). I don't feel like I can get an honest opinion from a plastic surgeon or dermatologist since they want to make money.

Hi, I'm sorry, I meant, does anyone have a link to pics so I can see what an ice pick scar looks like? Actually pics of all the different kind of scars would be good.

I don't have a camera to take pics of my scars with. Sorry for any confusion
